Coming Soon: Stony Brook Southampton's Annual Windmill Lighting

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Once again, an iconic Southampton windmill will be illuminated for the holiday season.

The annual Stony Brook Southampton Windmill Lighting and holiday gathering will take place on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Stony Brook Southampton Library, located at 239 Montauk Highway.

This year's event, which is free and open to the public, features the iconic windmill lighting; a reception at the library with seasonal refreshments; and family-friendly activities, including a photo booth sponsored by the Alumni Association, a crafts table for children, a face painter, the chance to meet the Stony Brook mascot Wolfie, and musical performances by members of the Stony Brook University orchestra.
