Coming Up: Puppet Show, Open Mic

This being the week of Christmas, there aren't many events on the calendar. However, there are options for the kids, who are on winter break. To add an event that you don't see below, click here.

Monday

Kids Club: Hampton Kids in Wainscott offers a day camp during the winter break from school. Children from 2 to 12 years old are welcome. Morning sessions are from 9:00 a.m. to noon, and afternoon sessions are from noon to 3 p.m. Kids can also attend for a full day. There are also sessions on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon. Price includes a healthy snack, beverage, lunch during the morning session and 20 tokens per child. Price: $30 per session for members, $70 for the full day, $40 for non-members, $100 for full day. There is a ten percent second child discount.

Tuesday

The 13th Annual Christmas Eve Roast Suckling Pig Dinner: Almond will hold its 13th annual Christmas Eve tradition of roast suckling pig served with cabbage, caramelized apples and spaetzle for $31. A portion of the revenue from Christmas Eve will be donated to the Pajama Program. It begins at 5 p.m.

Incarnation Lutheran Church Christmas Eve Candlelight Service: The Water Mill church will hold a candlelight service at 7 p.m.

Gustafer Yellowgold's Show: Goat on a Boat Puppet Theatre in Sag Harbor will host two shows — at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. — with Groovy Gustafer Yellowgold is a small, yellow, cone-headed fellow, who came to Earth from the Sun and has a knack for finding himself neck-deep in absurd situations as he explores his new life in the Minnesota woods.  

People Say NY Open Mic: "People Say NY" open mic will be held in the space above the old Citarella in the Water Mill Shoppes complex at 6 p.m. Work from Laura Giugni-McGuire (artist/painter) will be on exhibit, comedian David Rey Martinez will MC the show, DJ Jonathan + Arthur will perform, and there will be a wine tasting by Wines @ Water Mill. There are also 20 slots to fill. Bring your own wine. Food will be served. Price: $10 cover.
