Don't Forget: Give Blood Wednesday, Platelet Donations Needed
The Bridgehampton Fire Department is holding a drive on Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m.

The Bridgehampton Fire Department is holding a blood drive on Wednesday, and platelet donations are especially needed.
The New York Blood Center said that the weekend snow storm severely impacted the platelet supply.Â
The blood drive will be held at the firehouse on School Street from 2 to 8 p.m. Refreshments and snacks will be served.
Anyone who is at least 17 years old, or 16 years old with written consent from parent or legal guardian, weighs at least 110 pounds, and is in good health, may donate. Donors between 16 and 18 are also subject to additional height/weight restrictions, and donors over 76 need to present a physician's letter allowing them to donate. For more information, click here.
