Extensive Road Closures Expected Friday Due To Trump's Hamptons Visit

EAST END, NY — Police have warned South Fork residents about "extensive road closures and gridlock" Friday with former President Donald Trump's reported visit to the Hamptons for a fundraiser.

According to Southampton Town police, residents can expect the road closures and gridlock in the afternoon and evening in the areas of Westhampton, Hampton Bays, Southampton, Shinnecock Hlls, North Sea, Water Mill, and Bridgehampton.

Trump is expected to attend a fundraiser at the home of Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick, who hopes to raise over $10 million at the dinner, according to Bloomberg.

The Real Deal reported that tickets to the event cost $250,000.
