The episode features Jeff Corwin and the Brady Hunter Foundation visiting SOFO in Bridgehampton, "to highlight our dedication to wildlife preservation and environmental education," SOFO said.

The episode showcases SOFO’s exhibits, educational programs, and nature trails, offering viewers an inside look at the museum’s mission to inspire environmental stewardship. The segment also focuses on SOFO’s efforts with young environmental advocates who are making strides in the world of conservation. Corwin interacts with students and aspiring naturalists, inspiring the next generation of conservationists who are committed to protecting the East End’s diverse ecosystems, SOFO said.

A key part of the segment and effort is SOFO’s Young Environmentalists Society (YES!), led by Mare Dianora. YES! is open to young environmentalists, aged 10 to 16 —with junior members ages 5 to 9 — who are passionate about exploring challenges impacting the environment and take action to protect our planet’s future, SOFO said.

"We are incredibly honored to be featured on Extraordinary World with Jeff Corwin," said Frank Quevedo, executive director at SOFO. "Jeff Corwin has been a passionate advocate for wildlife and conservation for decades, and we are thrilled to share our mission with a national audience. This episode will highlight not only the challenges faced by Long Island’s marine life, but also the incredible work being done by our team and the next generation of conservationists."

"The upcoming episode offers a rare glimpse behind the scenes at SOFO, providing viewers with an exclusive look at the museum’s conservation projects, the importance of rescuing cold stunned sea turtles, and the inspiring stories of young environmentalists making a difference," SOFO said.
