John McEnroe Puts Hamptons Mansion on the Market
The gorgeous home is listed for $14.5 million.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY - Tennis legend John McEnroe and his wife Patty Smyth have put their idyllic Southampton home on the market.
The home of the pro athlete known not only for his prowess on the court but his impassioned exchanges is located on Squabble Lane, according to Architectural Digest.
Perhaps there isn’t room enough in the estate section of Southampton for two famed “bad boys” because tennis superstar McEnroe and his wife have put a $14.5 million price tag on their 7500 sq. ft Southampton mansion, located just down a beach path from the palatial estate belonging to the shock jock Howard Stern and his wife Beth.

Situated on 2.17 acres on what is known as the Murray-McDonald Compound, once one of Southampton’s largest estates, McEnroe’s property consists of eight bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms in a two-storied multi-winged home on a beautifully landscaped lot — four homes away from the Atlantic Ocean, according to Variety.
Complete with pool and tennis court, McEnroe’s home is gated and while not directly on the ocean, the estate comes with deeded rights to a lovely stretch of beach access.
