Man Charged With Felony DWI In Water Mill: Police

WATER MILL, NY — An East Hampton man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in Water Mill Monday night, police said.

According to Southampton Town police, at about 7:57 p.m., Edison Deleg-Padilla, 33, was stopped on Montauk Highway after authorities received a 911 call regarding an erratic driver.

After further investigation he was found to be intoxicated by alcohol, police said. Deleg-Padilla was arrested, charged with felony DWI, and taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and held for morning arraignment, police said.
