Matt Lauer Is Selling Another One Of His Hamptons Homes
The Today Show host is asking $18 million for his 25-acre spread.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Just how much real estate does the Today Show host Matt Lauer own in the Hamptons? That’s the question real estate junkies are asking since, for the second time in a matter of weeks, he is putting up a 'For Sale' sign on a multi-million dollar Hamptons home.
Right after Patch reported that Lauer had snagged Richard Gere’s crown jewel of a Hamptons bayfront estate, the 6.2-acre, 12-bedroom Strongheart Manor in North Haven, which was for sale for the bargain price of about $36 million, Lauer put his $4-million Southampton charmer up for sale.
It’s a three-bedroom/two-bathroom waterfront home with a wrap-around deck. Lauer bought it seven years ago for $2.15 million, according to Variety.

Now about two weeks later, real estate wunderkind Susan Breitenbach of The Corcoran Group, who was responsible for the Gere-Lauer deal, has the exclusive listing on another one of Lauer’s Southampton estates. This time it’s 25 lush acres with an asking price of $18 million.
The impressive property, which the Wall Street Journal is reporting consists of two adjoining lots, one with the Lauers’ six-bedroom, 8000 square-foot main home, which Lauer and his wife, Annette, built around 2001, and another building lot for a guest house. According to the report, the estate also has a 70-foot pool, a pool house and a tennis court, along with gardens and rolling lawns.
