Police ID Man Who Died In Flanders Crash Wednesday Morning
The single-vehicle crash took place at about 7:47 a.m., police say.
FLANDERS, NY — Police have identified the man who died in a County Road 105 crash Wednesday morning as Robert Burgazzoli, 36, of Riverhead.
According to Southampton Town police, the vehicle was occupied by two people; Burgazzoli subsequently died. A second person remains hospitalized with serious, life-threatening injuries, police said.
The single-vehicle crash took place at about 7:47 a.m., in the area of County Road 105 near State Route 24, when a motorist heading southbound crashed into a tree, police said.

Flanders Northampton Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the Flanders Fire Department responded to assist with any injuries and traffic, police said.
Southampton Town police detectives and the New York State Police crash reconstruction officers responded to investigate, police said.
