The Southampton Town Police have arrested a Hampton Bays man for driving while ability impaired, a misdemeanor.
On Monday, June 2, at about 2:52 a.m. on Head of Pond Road in Watermill, Daniel R. Barrantes, 32, was stopped for a traffic infraction. A subsequent investigation revealed he was operating his car in an intoxicated condition.
He was arrested at the scene, transported to police headquarters for processing, and held for morning arraignment.
