  1. Southampton area pets who need a home: Boy, do we have a great lineup this week of beautiful cats, handsome dogs and puppies, well what more can you say about adopting a puppy! If you're a cat person, meet NELLIE, a tabby mix, up for adoption. If dogs are more your thing, there are several great dogs available, too. (Southampton Patch)
  2. Southampton is kicking off a snack drive for essential workers called "Operation Love." The drive takes place now until Feb. 13; there are two collection points. The first is at the Hamptons United Methodist Church, located at 160 Main St., and the second is at Heart of the Hamptons, located at 168 Hill St. Donations sought include individual packages of popcorn, chips, granola and protein bars, dried fruit, mixed nuts, and small water bottles. So, show your love on Valentine's Day to those front-line workers who have protected us for nearly two years! (Southampton Patch)
  3. There are a lot of jobs listed this week in and around Southampton. Positions such a business services representative to warehousing. Check out what position might be right for you! (Southampton Patch)
  4. Who benefits from the Spirit and Frontier airlines merger? We do! The Daily News reported that Spirit and Frontier agreed to a merger valued at $6.6 billion that they say will create “America’s most competitive ultra-low fare airline,” the companies announced Monday. The airlines would combine under the new deal to offer “more ultra-low fares to more travelers in more destinations across the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean,” the companies said. “We are thrilled to join forces with Frontier to further democratize air travel,” Spirit President and CEO Ted Christie said in a statement Monday.
