- Remember studying the planets in school? Now in its 65th year, the 2022 Parish Art Museum Student Exhibition will display the Sag Harbor Elementary pre-kindergarten and kindergarten kids' work. Patch reported that this year, the Sag Harbor pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students are joining together to create the planets in the solar system complete with a 3D model of the James Webb telescope. The 2022 Parrish Art Museum Student Exhibition will be open from March 12 through April 10. (Southampton Patch)
- Due to a dramatic decline in NYC COVID-19 cases, Gov. Kathy Hochul is lifting the indoor mask mandate for New York businesses. The policy shift comes as New York makes "tremendous progress" in the fight against the coronavirus with sharp drops in new cases, positivity and hospitalizations, the governor said Wednesday. Businesses can still require masking on their own, Hochul said. (Patch)
- Reported by LI Business News, Stony Brook University Hospital is celebrating four consecutive years of being named to America’s 100 Best Hospitals in the country for clinical excellence by Healthgrades.
