2. Gov. Kathy Hochul's office has reported that Long Island has a COVID-19 positivity rate of 13.05 percent, the highest rate in New York. On Thursday, more than 8,200 new infections were reported in Nassau and Suffolk. (News 12)
3. Attorneys for a group of Wainscott residents who are challenging the South Fork Wind power cable landing in the hamlet have asked a judge to block the wind farm's construction. (The East Hampton Press)
