  1. Thursday, police said, Leonides Olivencia, 42, a Manorville man was arrested and charged with taking a company vehicle from Nardy Pest Control, without authorization. Police said,Olivencia was arrested and charged with third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. (Southampton Patch)
  2. 27East reported, Southampton Village adopted a law that allows owners to collect summer’s rent upfront. This registry rule allows the village to get around a provision in the state’s Housing Stability and Tenant Protection Act that banned owners from collecting more than one month’s rent in advance. Landlords wanting advance payment need to provide their names and mailing addresses, a copy of the lease, the names of the tenants and period of occupancy. (The Real Deal)
  3. Tennis in the Hamptons this summer, its one of many favorite activities for Hamptons-goers, and there is no shortage of tennis courts or opportunities to play out on the East End.
