1. The Town of Southampton will allow marijuana sales after town officials decided not to opt out of allowing retail and consumption establishments before the end of year deadline. (Subscription: Newsday)
2. Due to omicron-related staffing shortages United Airlines and Delta canceled numerous Christmas Day flights including some at JFK and LaGuardia airports. (News 12)
3. East Hampton Town had concerns over plans to develop the former Rick's Crabby Cowboy Cafe in Montauk. The Town Planning Board expressed worries over the size of the proposal for 435 East Lake Drive. (The Real Deal)
