  1. Join the Southampton Inn for their annual Easter Celebration on Easter morning, Sunday, April 17 at 10 a.m. Before or after the egg hunt, enjoy the annual Easter Brunch at Claude’s Restaurant from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., where they will serve their ala carte menu as well as traditional holiday specials.   2. In Hampton Bays, Saturday night at 10:11 p.m, Jaime Tandazo Pintado, 28, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor DWI. Pintado was observed failing to yield the right of way on Montauk Highway near West Tiana Road in Hampton Bays, police said. He was stopped by police who determined he was driving while intoxicated.   3. Three zombie homes located at 794, 795 and 798 Riviera Drive that sustained severe damage during storm Sandy in 2012 were destroyed by Brookhaven Town on March 28. The demolished houses were located in environmentally sensitive wetlands and the property will be preserved as open space. (LongIsland.com)
  4. John Martinolich, 36, a Hampton Bays man, was arrested Saturday night after placing another person in a headlock, causing them to lose consciousness, police said. When police arrived and informed Martinolich he was going to be arrested, he ran. Martinolich is charged with charged with second-degree strangulation, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
