  1. A fire in a small barn at the Applewild Farm on Meadow Court in Bridgehampton on Wednesday took three fire departments and an hour to extinguish. Sag Harbor, East Hampton, and Southampton responded to Bridgehampton's call for aid. (East Hampton Star)
  2. A rally for affordable housing in the Hamptons was held Saturday. East End YIMBY ("Yes in my back yard") assembled at the windmill on Long Wharf in Sag Harbor to draw attention to the fact that teachers, firefighters, health care workers, tradespeople, farmers, fishermen and more cannot find affordable homes in the area.   3. Someone threatened to shoot Southampton's town clerk's office on the phone leading to a Wednesday lockdown. The Southampton Town and Village Police both responded. (Subscription: Southampton Press)
  4. A portion of Country Road 39 was closed Friday afternoon after a crash in Southampton west of Tuckahoe Lane due to wires down across the roadway. It's been reopened. (Patch)
