- The Noyac Civic Council is seeking volunteers to participate in the Great East End Clean Up of Noyac Road. The event will take place on Saturday, April 23; volunteers should meet at 9 a.m., the event is until 11 a.m. Trout Pond Volunteers will disperse into small groups and will work on sections. - The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation is thankful to Newsday for helping to spread the news about the dogs rescued from the Mexican cartel. These wonderful dogs are now ready and waiting for you to give them their furrever homes! (Website)

- First 'historic' opioid settlements were distributed to Long Island. Today’s payments, totaling $46.9 million, are the first of many to Long Island to combat the opioid crisis.
