On Thursday, Southampton Hospital welcomed 32 new doctors to its Residency Program in Social Osteopathic Medicine (RP-SOM) with a “white coat ceremony” at the Wölffer Estate Vineyard Wine Stand in Sagaponack. Southampton Hospital gives each new trainee a white coat in commemoration of the start of residency. The RP-SOM was founded in 2009.
