$100,000 Powerball Winning Ticket Sold In Hudson Valley

BREWSTER, NY — A Powerball ticket worth $100,000 was purchased in Brewster.

New York Lottery officials said the third-prize winning Powerplay ticket for the Monday drawing was sold at 76 Gas on North Main Street in Brewster.

There was a second third-prize winning Powerplay ticket worth the same amount that was sold in Patchogue at the Sunrise Highway ShopRite.

According to lottery officials, the winning numbers for the Monday Powerball drawing were 3-6-11-17-22, with a Powerball of 11.

The third-prize winning tickets matched four numbers plus the Powerball.

The Powerplay multiplier for the Monday drawing was 2, which means the third-place prize was doubled to $100,000, lottery officials said.

Winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.

The Powerball drawing is held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.

Wednesday’s jackpot is an estimated $421 million, lottery officials said.
