Carmel Woman Charged in Shoplifting Incident

The New York State Police provided the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

On May 20, 2012, at about 4 p.m., New York State Troopers were called to in the Cortlandt Town Center for a reported larceny.

Michelle Licari, 31, of Carmel was stopped by Walmart loss prevention officers after allegedly taking approximately $136 dollars worth of assorted merchandise, without paying for it. 

After she was turned over to State Police, she was charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor, and released on an appearance ticket. She must appear in the Town of Cortlandt Court on June 8 at 9 a.m.
