Cold Spring Man Dies Skiing At Stowe Mountain Resort

Brooks Ralph, 27, of Cold Spring, was an associate at Hunter Point Capital, an independent investment firm​ in New York City.​

COLD SPRING, NY — A Putnam County man, who has been missing, was killed Tuesday while skiing at Stowe Mountain Resort in Stowe, Vermont.

Officials said the skier was identified as Brooks Ralph, 27, of Cold Spring, MyNBC5 reported.

The Stowe Police Department said it received a report about the missing man at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and his body was found just before midnight.

He was found in an out-of-bounds wooded area, the New York Post reported.

Ralph’s body was taken to the state’s medical examiner’s office to determine the cause of death, which at this time is considered accidental.
