Interim Town-by-Town Storm Rainfall, Wind Gusts: Hudson Valley Storm
Wind and flood advisories continue in effect for much of the Hudson Valley.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The Jan. 9 storm dumped a lot of rain in a short time onto the region, including onto the foot or more of snow dumped onto Orange, Dutchess and Ulster counties on Sunday.
Flood warnings and watches persist in the Mid-Hudson Valley. The period of concern for strongest sustained and wind gusts has ended, the National Weather Service said.

The most rain recorded by New York State Mesonet was 3.98 inches in western Rockland County as of 9:10 a.m.

The highest wind gusts during the storm recorded for the National Weather Service were in Westchester County, one on Long Island Sound and one on the Hudson River:
- Larchmont Harbor - 64 MPH 1040 PM
- Tappan Zee Light 14 - 54 MPH 1036 PM
