Obituary: Chelsea Elizabeth McCue, 32

Chelsea Elizabeth McCue of Brewster, NY, passed away at home unexpectedly Monday May 13, 2024, at the age of 32.

Chelsea was born October 17, 1991, in Portchester, NY, daughter of Dean McCue of Danbury, CT and the late Deborah (Golz) McCue. A lifelong Brewster resident, Chelsea graduated from Brewster High School in 2009.

Chelsea was a member and active participant in the First Baptist Church in Brewster. Everybody knew her favorite band was The Zoo. You could always find her in the front row when they performed. Despite her disabilities she always radiated joy and had a smile on her face. She was loved by everyone who knew her.

Besides her father Dean, Chelsea is survived by her brother Dean McCue and his wife Noelle of Brewster, NY; sister Heather Walsh and her husband Ryan of Brewster, NY and Dakota McCue of Danbury, CT; Grandmother Merle Golz of Brewster, NY and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday May 16, 2024, at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday May 17, 2024, at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Brewster, NY followed by the interment in Milltown Rural Cemetery in Brewster.
