Obituary: Christopher Lauro, 55, Of Carmel

Christopher George Lauro of Carmel, NY, passed away in a tragic accident on Thursday, November 30, 2023. He was 55 years old.

Chris was born March 15, 1968, in Carmel, NY, to Beverly (deceased) and Robert Lauro of Patterson, NY. He attended Carmel High School and worked as an electrician for Joe Healey for over a decade.

Chris was a kind and caring soul who had a great sense of humor. His intelligence was shown in his skills and abilities, ranging from mechanics to carpentry, and he was always ready to help anyone who was in need. Chris enjoyed boating and fishing. He also held a special place in his heart for his dogs. Chris had a passion for a wide range of musical genres and enjoyed the opportunity to share his awesome playlists.

Chris is survived by his loving life partner, Sharon of Carmel, New York, as well as his father, Robert (Margie) of Patterson, NY, brother Kevin (Katrina) Lauro of New South Wales, Australia, his sister, Stephanie (Michael) Goetz of Watertown, CT, and his brother, Matthew (BrieAna) Lauro of Boise, ID.

Chris will also be deeply missed by a loving family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.

A celebration of Chris’ life will be held on Friday December 8, 2023, from 3pm to 7pm at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY. The interment will be private.
