On Wednesday, October 18, 2023, Frank J. DeVito, of Mahopac, NY, died at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, NY at the age of 83.
Frank was born on June 28, 1940, in Yonkers, NY to Francis and Mary (Castallano) DeVito. Frank graduated from Saunders High School in Yonkers, NY. On August 2, 1958, he married the love of his life, Kathleen Kovacs. Together, they raised 3 beautiful daughters. Frank was a driver for United Parcel Service out of Pelham, NY for 33 years, retiring in 1993. A Yonkers resident until moving to Mahopac, NY in 1968, where he found a home as a parishioner of St. John’s The Evangelist Church.

Frank enjoyed time spent down at Cape May, NJ sitting by the ocean with family or going on walks with his wife Kathleen. He was an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed old western movies and TV shows. Frank also enjoyed competitive card games with his grandchildren and spending time working in his yard.
Besides his wife Kathleen of 65 years, Frank is survived by his 3 daughters: Debra (Arnold) Falgiano of Beekman, NY, Patricia (Joseph) Mayhew of Pawling, NY and Laurie (Joseph) Verde of Patterson, NY. A brother, Joseph (Barbara) DeVito of Cold Springs, NY. Also 8 grandchildren, Joey, Kristina, Frankie, Griffin, Sierra, Arnold, Katlyn and Cameron and 1 Great Grandson, Little AJ.

A funeral service will be held Monday, October 23, 2023, 12:00pm at Dwyer Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Patterson, N.Y. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00am till 12 noon. www.dwyerfuneralhome.com
