Janice Outhouse Finlay of Croton Falls, NY, passed away at home on Sunday November 19, 2023, at the age of 87.

Janice was born August 29, 1936, in Mt. Kisco, NY, daughter of the late Arthur and Ada (Peterson) Outhouse. She graduated from Purdys Central High School in 1954 then earned her associate degree at Becker Junior College. Janice worked as a secretary for General Precision Laboratories in White Plains, NY. She was a dedicated advocate for people with special needs and the elderly. Janice lived in Croton Falls and was a member of the Croton Falls Community Church.

Janice is survived by her son Scott Finlay(Erica) of England; son Harry Rosvally of Newtown, CT; daughter Susan O’Mahoney of Mandeville, LA; grandchildren Emma, Ethan, Dylan, Danielle, Sean, Heather and David and great-grandchildren Tyler and Kaelyn. She was predeceased by her daughter Donna, granddaughter Kelly, three brothers and one sister.

A celebration of Janice’s life will be held in July 2024. Arrangements by the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY.
