Putnam Holds Hearing on Mental Health Services
What needs and gaps in services for mental health, alcohol and substance abuse services and developmental disabilities exist in Putnam?

From Putnam Co. Services Board: Putnam County Executive MaryEllen Odell, Commissioner Michael J. Piazza, Jr. and the Putnam Community Services Board announce that a Public Hearing for the 2018 Local Government Plan (LGU) for Mental Health Services will be held on Monday, May 22nd at 6:00 pm at the Department of Social Services Conference Room (side entrance), located at 110 Old Route Six, Building #2, Carmel, NY 10512.
At the Public Hearing, the 2017 LGU Plan will be reviewed and there will be discussion regarding the objectives of that plan. The county will also report on any additional needs and gaps in services raised in meetings with consumers and providers in order to establish the 2018 plan.
This is an opportunity for any member of the community to give informal testimony and identify what needs and gaps in services for mental health, alcohol and substance abuse services and developmental disabilities exist in Putnam County.

The Public Hearing will give an opportunity for anyone in the county to comment on the plan prior to its submission to the New York State Office of Mental Health.
