All public flu clinics require an appointment, which can be made online. Also, the consent form must be completed and signed beforehand, and presented at the clinic, along with proof of residency such as a driver’s license. Consent forms are available online but will not be available at the clinic.

For those age 65 and up, Putnam County Department of Health will be offering the High Dose Flu Vaccine. Studies have shown this vaccine appears more effective in fighting flu in seniors, health officials said.
