Putnam County Young Republican Club Host Earth Day Clean Up

Putnam County Young Republican Club participated in a clean up of Mayor's Park on the Cold Spring waterfront to celebrate Earth Day.

From Putnam Co. Young Republican Club: The Putnam County Young Republican Club celebrated Earth Day by picking up litter in Mayor’s Park on the Cold Spring waterfront, which is a public park used by the community for events and sports. The club described the event as a humbling and rewarding experience, and they were proud to have celebrated Earth Day with this longstanding tradition shared by so many groups and individuals across the country.

The Young Republicans view Cold Spring as a particularly valuable asset to the county’s residents and tourists alike, and believe it is essential to keep the waterfront areas and parks in the community clean. Clean up events like this are just one of the many things the club does in order to play their part in keeping Putnam County a great place to live and visit.
