Putnam To Host Free Pet Rabies Vaccine Clinic
Dogs, cats and ferrets belonging to county residents are eligible.
PUTNAM COUNTY, NY — The Putnam County Health Department will host a free rabies vaccine clinic for residents' pets on July 15.
Dogs, cats and ferrets who are at least 12 weeks old are eligible for the free shots.
You must bring proof of residency.

If you want a 3-year vaccine, you must bring proof — a veterinarian certificate is OK, a tag is not — that the animal has been vaccinated previously. Otherwise, the department will give 1-year vaccines.
Dogs must be leashed, cats and ferrets must be in carriers. All pets must be supervised by an adult.
