Severe Thunderstorm Warnings In Effect
Expect 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail, the National Weather Service said.
HUDSON VALLEY, NY — At 3:29 p.m., a cluster of severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Monroe to near West Point to Cold Spring, moving northeast at 15 mph.
Another line of storms was moving through southern Westchester County and Rockland County.
They carried 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines.
