More Rain, Floods, Outages In The HV: Town-by-Town Interim Reports

It was enough to cause the National Weather Service to issue a flood warning in Rockland County through Thursday evening and a hazardous outlook for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester.

The worst outages were in Orange County, PowerOutageUS reported.

Bruce Furbeck of First Due Weather recorded 2.5 inches of rain in Monroe by 8 a.m. Mesonet stations recorded 1-2 inches across the region in 24 hours, with the heaviest rainfall in Rockland and southern Orange counties.
