Town-by-Town Snow Reports For The Hudson Valley
The storm may have weakened but still managed to drop a lot of snow in a few hours. The NWS released the reports it received by 1:38 p.m.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The fast-moving snowstorm that fooled forecasters by shifting and weakening at the last minute left the region less than 12 hours after it arrived.

The nor'easter did dump a lot of snow in a short time, including a foot or so in parts of Orange and Putnam counties and 10 inches in parts of Westchester.

Dutchess and Ulster counties, which had expected more than 12 inches, only got a coating.
