Find out what's happening in Southeast-Brewsterfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
When/Where: 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday/ (on Peaceable Hill Road in Brewster)
Why go: You'll get to show your support for the veterans while enjoying tons of breakfast items, from sausage to eggs to waffles and more. The food will be plentiful and the company more than pleasant! Plus, this is the first breakfast of fall, so it's bound to be a good turnout.

Pricing: $10 (kids ages 12 to 18 are $5; 12 or younger is free)
2. Join the Hudson Valley Weather Observers
When/Where: 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday/Legal-Land Use Room at the Mahopac Public Library (on Route 6)
Why go: This group is made up of amateur weather-watchers from all over the county. They meet just five times a year, so swing by and see what they're all about. Find more details here.

3. Head Over to Mahopac for a Parade
When/Where: 2 p.m. Saturday/Route 6N in Mahopac
Why go: Tons of local volunteers and emergency responders will be there for the annual Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department parade. Spend the afternoon cheering them on! (Note: Route 6N will be closed from West Lake Boulevard to Potter Road until about 4 p.m.)
