BROOKLYN, NY — A gun-wielding man is currently wanted for robbing a store Friday night in Sunset Park.

Police say the man entered the shop at the corner of 8th Avenue and 41st Street at 8 p.m. on Feb. 16, pointing a gun at the 28-year-old cashier while he threatened him.

The suspect, who was wearing a black mask and a sweatshirt with the hood up, forcibly removed $2,800 in cash and store merchandise and fled the scene, according to police.

An NYPD spokesperson told Patch on Tuesday that they are still searching for the suspect, who was last seen walking toward 9th Avenue immediately after the robbery.

He was described as having a slim build and was wearing a black Brooklyn Nets sweatshirt, black pants, white sneakers, and a black ski mask.
