1. A new documentary follows the 2017 City Council run in Bay Ridge of Rev. Khader El-Yateem, a Palestinian American and Lutheran pastor. The filmmaker, an NYU student originally from the Gaza Strip, wanted to highlight the importance of community organizing in preserving democracy.
