Man Killed After Family Of 3 Stabbed At Sunset Park: NYPD
"Give me all your money," one of the suspects said before stabbing the three family members, police said.

SUNSET PARK, NY — A man was killed and two family members stabbed near Sunset Park’s Recreation Center early Saturday morning, according to an NYPD spokesman.
Yener Rodas, 31, died from wounds to the chest and shoulder after the fatal encounter on 44th Street and Seventh avenue about 1 a.m. Saturday morning, according to police.
A 26-year-old was stabbed in the left eye and a 33-year-old man was stabbed in the torso, according to police. Both are in stable condition at Maimonides Hospital.

“They were leaving Sunset Park and coming out at the corner,” the spokesman told Patch. “The [deceased] had an e-bike, and the three individuals were approached by two individuals, one of which displayed a knife and said, ‘Give me your s—t! Give me your money!’”
The victims told the suspects that they knew them and to relax, according to the NYPD spokesman.

“The guy with the knife repeatedly stabbed everybody,” the spokesman said. “Suspect number two got an e-scooter and fled in an unknown direction. The other suspect fled on foot going west on 44th Street.”
There have been no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing, according to the spokesman.
