Good Samaritan Rescues Woman From Would-Be Rapist In Brooklyn

The man fought off the woman's attacker who was in the midst of trying to rape her in a Bay Ridge alley, police said.

BAY RIDGE, NY — A good Samaritan rescued a woman who was about to be raped in a Bay Ridge alley, police said Wednesday.

The would-be rapist attacked the 27-year-old woman as she walked near 90th Street and Fifth Avenue at 1:40 a.m. on Aug. 25. The brute forced the woman into a nearby alleyway and threw her to the ground, authorities said.

He was in middle of taking off her clothes when the stranger stepped in. The men struggled before the attacker ran off, officials said.

Cops said the man has a goatee and was lest seen wearing a black T-shirt, black and white sneakers and dark colored shorts.
