  1. Schools that only rely on window ventilation, instead of air purifiers, have higher rates of COVID-19 infections for both students and teachers, according to an investigation. There is one such school close to Sunset Park: The School of Creativity and Innovation. (Gothamist)
  2. The LA-based company Voro Motors is opening a warehouse and showroom at Industry City, in the same building as Porsche and Volvo. (Commercial Observer)
  3. Julio Lugo, a World Series champion baseball player who grew up in Sunset Park, died at 45, presumably due to a heart attack. (Brooklyn Daily Eagle)
  4. While Governor Kathy Hochul says that she's committed to holding back on any MTA fare increases for the next year, the agency itself said it will "reconsider" a possible increase in only six months time. (Gothamist)
