2. Hundreds of residents rallied against the city's plan to build a new homeless shelter in Sunset Park, saying that there hasn't been sufficient community input. They were joined by State Senator Simcha Felder. (CBS New York)
3. A painter who fell off the Manhattan Bridge on the job earlier this week was identified as David Alomia, a 37-year-old Sunset Park resident. (New York Daily News)
