Man Shot During Drug Deal In Sunset Park, Police Say

SUNSET PARK, NY — A man was critically shot in his car during a drug deal on 45th Street, near Seventh Avenue, on Monday night, police said.

The 25-year-old man was sitting in his car parked in front of 705 45th St. with two men for a drug deal when one of the suspects shot him twice in the torso at about 10:24 p.m., the NYPD said.

The victim was taken to Lutheran Medical Center where he's listed as likely to die, a spokesman for the NYPD said.

Police had no descriptions for the two suspects on Tuesday morning.
