  1. Councilman Carlos Menchaca has hope that Eric Adams will be a good mayor for immigrant New Yorkers. Adams has said during his campaign that he wants to limit ICE deportations in the city. (Documented)
  2. Nightingale Properties, a real estate developer, plans to revamp a former torpedo factory and Whale Oil Company headquarters along the Sunset Park waterfront, with housing and a 30,000-square-foot amenity center. (Commercial Observer)

Mayor-elect Adams said at a Tuesday press conference that he "loves" the idea of creating an elevated park over the BQE, which was originally proposed by former Deputy Borough President Diana Reyna.
