New LinkNYC Wifi Kiosks Come To Sunset Park

Six new kiosks are being lit up along Fourth Avenue.

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — Sunset Park is getting six new LinkNYC Wi-Fi kiosks along Fourth Avenue.

The stations will bring high-speed internet and charging ports to one of the neighborhood's busiest corridors.

The new kiosks will bring Sunset Park's total to 10, all on Fourth Avenue between 20th and 37th streets. You can see a map of them here.

The gray locations on that map represent kiosks that are in the process of being activated. Brooklyn Paper, though, reported that all but one are up and running.

In addition to the wifi and charging ports, the kiosks include free phone calls, a tablet for using maps and other services and and a 911 button for emergencies.

More than 900 of the kiosks are active across the city.
