Speed Bumps Could Be Coming to 27th St. and 41st St. in Sunset Park
Community Board 7 will vote Wednesday on whether to back a plan to add speed bumps to two Sunset Park streets.

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — Community Board 7, representing Sunset Park and Windsor Terrace, will vote Wednesday on whether to back the installation of speed bumps on 27th Street and 41st Street.
The bumps have been proposed by the city's Department of Transportation for 27th Street between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue, and on 41st Street between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue.
Wednesday's meeting will take place at 4201 4th Ave. starting at 6:30 p.m. (The entrance to the building is on 43rd Street.

The monthly CB meeting will also include a presentation from the city's Health Department about the Zika virus, and a discussion led by El Puente on the state's Green Jobs - Green New York program, which helps residents and businesses reduce energy costs through increased efficiency, the installation of solar panels, and other means.
