Standoff At Sunset Park Biker Club Leads To 5 Arrests: Reports
A huge police presence was outside Club Bejac on Saturday after assault suspects holed up inside, reports said.

SUNSET PARK, NY — Police had an hours-long standoff outside a Sunset Park biker club over the weekend after a group of men wanted for pistol-whipping a person holed up inside, reports said.
The suspects pistol-whipped and robbed a 43-year-old man outside Club Bejac, near Third Avenue and 57th Street, on Saturday morning then went inside and refused to leave when police arrived, the New York Post reported.
The spot, home to the Bejacs Motorcycle Club, was having a party at the time with nearly 100 people inside, the Post reported.

Armored cars, the NYPD's Emergency Services Unit and the Hercules Teams were sent to the club and had a nearly two-hour standoff with the suspects, the New York Daily News reported.
The five men eventually came outside at about 9 a.m. and were arrested, the Post reported. About 75 other people also were taken outside.

A spokeswoman for the NYPD could not confirm the incident.
