The season of films and fun kicks off on May 20 with a collection of exciting movies to various outdoor locations including Green-Wood Cemetery, Fort Greene Park, the Old American Can Factory in Gowanus, the pier at The Brooklyn Army Terminal in Sunset Park, City Parks Foundation’s SummerStage in Central Park and Industry City in Sunset Park.   3. A teenager has gone missing near the border of Bed-Stuy and Bushwick. Emily Herrera, 18, was last seen at her Bushwick Avenue home near Kossuth Place at approximately 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. She stands around 5 feet, 1 inch tall, and was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and blue-and-white sneakers. (Patch)
  4. Richard Davey is the new President of New York City Transit (subway and bus), chair and CEO Janno Lieber announced Monday. Davey said that safety was at “the top of everyone’s mind,” and that he would join forces with the NYPD to keep riders safe. This was after he cited the shooting on a subway platform in Sunset Park.
