- At least 16 people were hurt in a Brooklyn subway in Sunset Park by a gunman wearing a gas mask and construction vest. An extensive search is on for the gunman in the Brooklyn subway shootings. (WABC-TV)

- On March 19, an MTA conductor was punched and slashed with a sharp object after she had asked a man to stop smoking on her train.
