Sunset Park Fire Leaves 7 Firefighters Injured
The fire broke out early Saturday morning and was brought under control in a little over an hour.

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — A fire broke out in a three-story building in Sunset Park early Saturday morning, injuring seven firefighters, according to the FDNY.
An FDNY spokesperson told Patch that a call for the fire came in around 3:42 a.m. The fire was on the second floor of the three-story building at 4815 6th Avenue.
The fire was brought under control at 5 a.m.

Six of the injured firefighters suffered minor injuries and one firefighter suffered a serious but non-life threatening injury, the spokesperson said.
Some 106 firefighters battled the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
