Here are the top stories today in Sunset Park:
- Police released footage of a man sleeping in his car in Sunset Park, who was awakened and dragged out by a stranger who took off with his wallet, containing $300. Police say the incident took place last month at 712 62nd Street. (News 12 Connecticut)
- The Police also released cellphone video showing a man hitting a woman on the R train as it arrived at the Court Street station. The NYPD wants more cops on the trains to increase safety. (News 12 Brooklyn)
- The city finally provided clarity on Tuesday about the Middle and High School admissions process. In short–test scores and attendance won't be a factor in admissions, but grades and projects will, and arts schools will still hold admissions. Geographic priorities, by district and zone, remain in place. (Gothamist)
